Eiehoutjie is a 3 bedroom cottage 4km East of Sedgefield, overlooking Groenvlei (Lake Pleasant).
It is situated just off the N2, about 100m into the forest, just below the choo-tjoe. Right next door is 
bungalô, small restaurant serving fine food, and even finer coffee.  It is surrounded by rare and
beautiful indigenous forest; we have wonderful trees, exquisite views (lake and forest), resident Knysna loeries, and many other birds.

The cottage is 5 min drive from Sedgefield, 20 min from Knysna, and 30 min from George. 
Sedgefield has wonderful, unspoilt beaches for walks or swimming.  The town lies in a lake district,
so there’s a lot to do outdoors.  Water sports and cycling (mountain biking), running, horse riding,
lovely hiking trails and more on offer in Sedgefield. There are also fantastic reefs and diving sites
in the area and with Elemental Sport next door, it makes Eiehoutjie the perfect stay-over
for divers and spearfishermen.

 Plett is about 50 km away, Knysna 20km, George 40km; we are very central for outings and exploration.

The cottage sleeps 6 people comfortably; it's a 3-bedroom house with an open plan kitchen-,
dining-, lounge area.  The kitchen is equipped with a fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave,
gas stove &-oven, toaster, kettle, cutlery, crockery, glassware and cookware.

There is a small screen TV, with reception of SABC 1,2,3 & e.  We have a decoder and satellite dish
(in order to have any reception where we are). So if you are subscribed for DSTV, and want to watch
it on holiday, you're welcome to bring your card to insert in our decoder.

We supply linen, which is changed weekly.

It has 1 bathroom with a bath, toilet and hand basin.

P.S.  Pls bring beach towels, and there is no radio presently.
